Hi all.
Hope you had a lovely Easter Break. There is much to do this quarter. I’ll be looking to push the 1st Kyus into 1st Dans whether they take the actual test this year or not. That’ll be tough for them as the true measure of what you are made of will always come out on the Dan grade. The video for the applications to Kanku Dai is coming out soon. All lessons are back on except Thursday 2nd May where Fenton Manor is being used as a counting station for the forthcoming elections. Cheers Mike The next grading will take place on Sunday 17th March 10.00 am and 12.00 pm.
Please make sure you are practicing to complete the next grading. Remember to bring Gi Mitts and pads Gumshield Licence book Fee Drinks and snacks Parents are encouraged to stay and watch, please arrive 10 minutes early. Please call Mike on 07900 897309 with any questions. A.S.K.D Welcomes
Leigh Simms 4th Dan to teach 2 Classes on Sunday 10th March, 10am-11am Childrens Jr Grade Class 11am-1pm Adults and High Grade Class Leigh is one of my original student that is doing great things in the seminar circuit. Places are limited See Sensei Mike or Lisa for details A fyler is being sent out for this at the moment..... The 1st of the 2 hour monthly A.S.K.D High grade classes start this Sunday.
Anyone with a Brown/White Belt and above should take this opportunity to polish their skills and get ready for the next stage in their Karate. It'll be a mix of making the techniques look right and the application for Kanku Dai in prep for the Dan grade test. There's a lot of adverts going up in and around the corridors at Fenton Manor!
Leanne and Addison should be pleased!. I've also updated the front cover of this Website to express the new advertising. We are really grateful to full the students and parents for all the pictures we have taken for the campaign. Thanks. In reference, we probably took 1000 fantastic pictures to get just a handful that looked right for the posters. All is back on......
My thanks to Hannah and Danny for looking after the class while I was away. I'm always impressed by Hannah, she has near perfect attitude towards karate. I also hope the parents see her as something there own little ones could aspire to. Tuesday 11th April Fenton On as normal
